Addiction Recovery Support
NADA stands for National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. The NADA ear (auricular) acupuncture protocol is most commonly used for addiction recovery support, including alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, compulsive eating and other addictions. NADA can be a stand-alone treatment but it works best when combined with other supportive treatments such as counseling, medical support, and self-help support groups.
Reduces withdrawal symptoms
Such as agitation and irritability
Provides relaxation and stress relief
Addiction recovery is very unique to each person - there is no set number of visits that each person needs. It can be as few as 3 or as many as 12. For that reason, we offer a more economical follow-up visit to help you receive as much treatment support as you need during this time.
Ready to book your appointment?
If you are new to the clinic, you must first sign up for a New Patient Treatment so that I can learn about any other health concerns that may affect treatment as well as help you come up with strategies that will fit your life as you go through the first weeks of addiction recovery.
Current patients may select a NADA treatment at any time without needing to sign up for a separate New Patient NADA visit. The treatment type cannot be switched on the same day of service.
During a Follow-Up NADA treatment, only the issues surrounding the addiction will be discussed and addressed through treatment. If you have other symptoms that need to be treated, you will need to schedule the more comprehensive Follow-Up Acupuncture Treatment. Let us know if you have any questions about which treatment is right for you and we'll be glad to help.
