Mini Relaxation Acupuncture Treatment

Did you know one of the most important benefits of any and every acupuncture treatment is stress relief?

Specifically, acupuncture helps to regulate the balance between the “fight/flight/freeze/fawn” stress system and the “rest & digest” system.

Stress relief is not a woo-woo concept.

How well you sleep, how well you digest food, how well you cope with stressors, how well you heal symptoms all have proven links to the effects of stress and the benefits of stress resilience.

So as an additional support to you, I offer Mini Relaxation Acupuncture Treatments.

What is Mini Relaxation Acupuncture?

This is a short, half-hour treatment at a reduced rate to unwind and de-stress. There is no discussion of issues or tailoring to specific symptoms.

“The Best Nap in Town”

When you come in, I will treat you with a set point protocol known for promoting relaxation and then you’ll rest for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Who is this for?

It’s an ideal option for people…

  • who want to get a little extra stress relief in between their regular treatments;
  • who know at least some acupuncture will help them but have current budget concerns for a full appointment;
  • who are overwhelmed with stress but need to get in and out quicker due to schedule constraints;
  • or who have no specific symptoms currently and want to maintain feeling good.

Note to new patients: If you are new to the clinic, you are allowed to schedule a mini relaxation acupuncture treatment, but know that this will not be tailored to any particular symptoms. If you want to do a fully tailored acupuncture treatment, you will need to schedule a New Patient Acupuncture appointment at that time.

Note for insurance patients: this is not eligible for insurance submission or for superbill receipts that require a treatment code and diagnosis codes.
